ABOUT PEOPLE'S EC

People's EC Church is a dynamic church located in Lehighton, PA. Our beliefs are based on the Bible and centered on Jesus Christ. Our mission is very simple: to lead people to honor and glorify Jesus Christ. That means we’re not about a building or some complicated religious system, but about helping people from all backgrounds discover the joy that comes from knowing and serving Jesus Christ.

We invite you to come and check us out this weekend at one of our worship services. We know that going to a new church can be intimidating, so we try to do things in a way where you’ll feel welcome and not like an outsider. When you come, you can participate or just sit back and observe. You’ll discover a warm atmosphere, practical teaching from God's Word and lots of friendly people pursuing God together. And with childcare and classes for all ages, your family will love it too!

8:30 am Contemporary Service

Our Contemporary Worship Service features a 1 hour service with contemporary music in a relaxed atmosphere.  Whether it's through creative music videos or our own live praise and worship band, you will enjoy praising God with our congregation of believers.  We celebrate Holy Communion on the 1st Sunday of each month.  This service also features a dynamic children's message as well as children's Sunday School.  Join Pastor Michael Coulson each Sunday as he presents an exciting presentation of God's word.

10:30 am Family Style Service

Our Family Style Worship Service features a 1 hour service and traditional hymns, beautifully accompanied by piano and guitar.  Our congregation of believers would love to take this time to join in praise with you.  We celebrate Holy Communion on the 1st Sunday of each month.  This service also features a dynamic children's message as well as children's Sunday School.  Join Pastor Michael Coulson each Sunday as he presents an exciting presentation of God's word.

2:00 pm Spanish Service

Join us at 2:00 pm on Sundays for our Spanish Language Service.  David and Betsy lead a passionate and energizing service of music and worship in Spanish.  This 1 hour service is conducted in a welcoming and family friendly atmosphere.

Atmosphere

It's important to us that you feel welcome when visiting. We hope our atmosphere will help you feel relaxed and comfortable. The music and worship are built around Biblical themes that are timeless. We are glad to have you join us in worship! You will be greeted and welcomed.

Family Friendly

No matter your family dynamics, you're welcome at People's EC Church and we're excited for you to consider being a part of our church family! Our intent is to serve the whole family. During our worship service we have a children's message as well as Sunday School. Your children will receive real spiritual training from caring leaders during this time.

Sermon

From the pulpit you will hear sound expository preaching. The focus of each sermon is built around the point of the Biblical text being addressed.

Biblical Teaching

Here at People's EC Church, we place a high priority on the preaching and teaching of God's Word. The worship service is a time for us to come together as a community to learn, be encouraged and to be challenged by God's Word. Other opportunities exist beyond the Sunday worship service where members have a chance to grow, fellowship, or otherwise be a part of a Church family that lives out their faith together.
